The Bancroft Fund directly supports nearly every aspect of the transformative experience that makes Bancroft so remarkable: Gifts to The Bancroft Fund reach all corners of our campus and support our student community.

Throughout our history alumni, students, parents, grandparents, faculty, staff, and friends have generously supported Bancroft. Many donors support the school as a means of giving back to a place that has given them so much. Others wish to honor a beloved faculty member, celebrate a milestone, or invest in the School’s promising future.

Whatever the reason, every gift makes a difference. Gifts to The Bancroft Fund reach all corners of our campus and support nearly every aspect of daily life at Bancroft. Your philanthropy helps underwrite the School’s annual operating budget and benefits faculty, financial aid, academic programs, the arts, athletics, community service, student leadership, and maintaining and improving our beautiful campus. Your gifts provide the critical funds necessary to attract bright, talented, and ambitious young people who will thrive here and become leaders in a rapidly changing world.

The Head’s Circle is Bancroft School’s Leadership Giving Society

Frank Robson Society        $25,000 and above
Centennial Society              $10,000 to $24,999
George Bancroft Society    $5,000 to $9,999
Sever Street Society             $3,000 to $4,999
1900 Society                           $1,900 to $2,999
Blue & Grey Society              $1,500 to $1,899
Young Alumni Circle            $250 to $1,499 *(1-10 years since graduating)

Donors who make annual gifts of $1,500 or more (or young alumni gifts of $250 or more) are recognized as members of The Head’s Circle. Donors at this level are critically important to the success of Bancroft’s fundraising efforts, providing philanthropic leadership that inspires donors at all levels to invest in Bancroft.  The Head’s Circle donors are recognized in donor listings, receive specialized communications throughout the year, and are invited to an annual reception hosted by the Head of School and Board of Trustees.

Join our sustaining giving program and make your Bancroft support easier and more manageable. For a minimum of $10 per month, you can provide ongoing support to Bancroft students and faculty.
