Bancroft School is an independent college prep, day school serving students in Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 12.

Yes. Upper School students can pursue a variety of AP and advanced-level courses that provide academic challenge and preparation for college-level work. Students work closely with teachers and advisors to select courses that align with their interests, goals, and strengths.

In the Lower and Middle Schools, the Hope Graham Program supports students with language-based learning differences. Additional tiered support services are available across divisions to help students thrive academically.

At Bancroft, college preparation begins long before a student begins an application. As students progress through each division, they are encouraged to wonder, investigate, create, and contribute through inquiry-based learning, Design Thinking, public speaking, Science & Engineering Inquiry, leadership opportunities, and Senior Capstone research.

In Upper School, students and families partner with counselors, advisors, and teachers throughout the college search process, benefiting from individualized guidance, college fairs, admissions representative visits, essay support, and application counseling.
